Automatic Create Labels

by Chris

The creation of labels for chapters, sections, figures, or tables can be annoying and just time consuming. LaTeXing offers the fill command inside a corresponding item to automatic create a new label below the current command.

To illustrate this behaviour the screenshot below shows the workflow, you just fill the capter name like normal and just press ["super+l", "super+l"] inside the argument and voila you can see a label on the next line.

The fill is available in the following commands: \part(*), \chapter(*), \section(*), \subsection(*), \subsubsection(*), \paragraph(*), \subparagraph(*), \cations. The full documentation can be found in the User Guide.
